The circular and reinforcing ribs provide increased performance to resist wind uplift forces.The plates are made of Galvalume coated steel which protected with high-performance alloy of aluminum and zinc,provide excellent corrosion protection.
- Our plates can engineered reinforcing ribs design provides maximum wind uplift rating 22 ga.Galvalume steel provides increased protection against corrosion.
- BUILCRA Barbed Seam Plates are excellent Attachment for roof Membranes and Cover Boards.The engineered barbed design provides increased wind uplift performance when used for roof system attachment to steel and wood roof decks.The flat-bottom design is ideal for use on rigid surfaces.
- Membrane fasteners must penetrate steel decks a minimum of 19mm(3/4").Using a screw gun,drive the fastener until a slight depression is seen around the plate,or with very rigid boards,watch for the plate to dimple.Note:Care must be taken not to overdrive the fastener and fracture the skin of the insulation.The fastener must be tight enough so that the plate does not turn.Factory Mutual requires that the fastener penetrate the steel deck at the top flute.
